I admit that I haven't yet worn these capri pants to practice yoga. BUT I've been wearing them to do everything else! I've noticed that the way the pieces of fabric in these capris were cut (straight-lined pieces + oblique-lined pieces) and it's impressive. It's obvious they were made for multi-directional movement--like what we practice in yoga. I'm impressed with the exceptionality of the design. I've noticed it in other Ripple garments I've bought as well. I bought a few garments from Ripple, some in "stone wash" and some not. These capris are not in the "stone wash," for example. I realize I prefer all the items that are NOT stone-washed. They are simply much softer. Noticeably so. The stone-washed items are rougher in feel (even after washings). If I'd known this beforehand, frankly, I wouldn't have bought any of their items in stone-wash. That's how much of a difference it is to me (even though visually the stone-washed items look nice).

Literally the most comfortable pants I have ever had. The fabric is very soft which I did not expect. I bought them for day hiking on Vancouver Island and they are a great layer. They stretch well for light climbing but also have great return. The waist band is wide enough my backpack does not cause it to roll. These may have been designed for yoga but if you are a hiker as well, they are perfect!
