5 Health Benefits Of Sweating

Finding Strength Through Movement

2023 Ripple's Year of Reflection

Out of the comfort zone - with Liat Vardi Bar

Meet Liat Vardi Bar, part of our creative team. Liat had shared with us an inspirational message.

“I am 45 years old. I never had a diet. Never counted calories. Never felt ashamed in my body. Until 2 years ago.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago, and even though I healed and recovered and now feel great, something very significant in my body - has changed.

My weight got stuck, my belly grew and I suddenly noticed that I don’t feel comfortable in my body.
Adopting gestures to hide the stomach, getting less pictures taken, moving with less confidence and feeling less feminine and beautiful.

I have a son and a daughter and I’m thinking a lot on the way my discomfort is reflected at home and outside, on how hiding my stomach and chin makes me bring less of myself.

This photoshoot is a breakthrough for me. It’s so much more than wearing clothes of a brand I love and work with. It’s far beyond a 45 year old woman changing tops and smiling to the camera.
It’s a presence. It’s an agreement.
To stand in the center. Just like that, as who I am.
Not to be shy. To look straight. To take up space. Without feeling shame or discomfort.

I’m very proud of myself for something that may seem casual or obvious to some of you.
I feel I’ve done something huge for myself and I feel part of the movement to free women from the most tough thing that is clutching them - her own self.

I want to say thank you to my friend that is also my idol and when I was photo shooting, I thought about her and I could see her rooting for me from the bleachers: Paula Rosenberg

And I will conclude with an important recommendation: we have a choice. I have a choice.

I choose me, with all that I am and we have a choice after who we follow and from whom we draw our inspiration and motivation. Follow after “clean the feed” by Paula and choose after who you follow, it seems minor but it’s so significant, try and see.

Thank you Noam my love on the kind eyes that took the pictures and for your beautiful words that lifted me up and made me feel so pretty. Thank you Ripple for what you bring to the world and the feminine body.

No one knows you like you know yourself. Make sure you go for a check up - you can never be too careful."
